Down the drain...

As I slide further and further into bankroll disarray, I offer up this question. Why can't I fold when I know I am beaten? For whatever reason I just HAVE to see the cards. I have to experience the anguish firsthand, sometimes by calling 2 bets cold. It's just flat out assinine, and yet I still do it. Must...stop...the stupidity.

I played in a couple of sit n gos yesterday. I placed second in one with fairly solid play. And was literally running over the table in the second, I had a 3 to 1 chip lead on the ENTIRE table at one point. I finished 4th...story of my life I suppose. It was again a case of being unable, and I mean just flat out incapable of laying down hands when I know I'm beat.

I bought the One of a Kind: The Rise and Fall of Stuey "The Kid" Ungar book today. Can't wait to crack it open. He is easily the most fascinating man to ever play this silly game.

Not much more to talk about really. I plan on playing in the New Orleans relief tournaments on Pokerstars, so hope to see you all there. It IS afterall, for a good cause, and you get to play some poker while you're at it.
